Happy Easter Weekend

I would like to wish my crafty friends a wonderfully happy and healthy long Easter weekend. I still have some polystyrene eggs to somehow decorate before tomorrow, but I have managed to make a few Hare cards using the  beautiful new Hare die by Creative Expressions

I am thrilled to say that my Spring Scene frame is in the May issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine! They have sent me  a huge and very generous package of Hunkydory goodies. To share the joy I will add some of the goodies to my next blog giveaway which I will be doing sometime soon.

Not long to the craft show at Alexandra Palace, sadly Indigoblu are not going to be there, so I won’t get my hug : (  but it will still be wonderful to meet everyone else. Just hope I will be ok on the day to go ..

Snowman Scenic Square

I have been busy creating a half dozen of these adorable scenic boxes. Before assembling the mdf pieces
I painted them and then added a coat of crackle.Sitting happily inside this one you can find a snowman or snowlady, a snowflake, both painted and decorated. Some dried elements, flowers pine cone etc, and some sumptuous  pink berries.
I also used mini polystyrene balls, and oh my goodness they went absolutely everywhere! I think I will still be finding them at Easter!

Thank you for stopping by, I would like to enter my little scene into the Mini Marvel challenge at A Vintage Journey

A Snowy Stroll To Church

Earlier this year I made my sister a Lake District 3D card for her birthday. She loved it and asked me if
I would make a similar Christmas one for a friend. I have been busy creating it for the last few days, the stamps are by Crafty Individuals, and Clarity Stamps.
So I have started my Christmas crafts for this year, which of course means glitter absolutely everywhere! How are your Christmas /Winter crafts coming along?

A view from above

The card folded all ready for its envelope.

I have medical appointments this week, I seem to think up most of my crafty ideas staring at waiting room floors !

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Dandelion Fairies

These two lovely Fairies are overlooking their field of dandelions. At midnight thousands of fairies emerge from the dandelions and twinkle and sparkle as they flitter  around. Some of them fly away and grant wishes for special, people, while others stay in the field and play and create magic.

A sideways view of the card, the wings fold inwards so it fits in the envelope!

I watercoloured the background and stamped and heat embossed the dandelions and the lovely sentiment.

Thank you Fairy much for visiting us today.

I would like to share this with the following challenges.

Country View Challenges Things with Wings  - oh dear I hadn't better call the fairies things!
